Recognitions and awards
The awards and recognitions come after many years of work and a long road in the world of education. Thanks to the work of all the people involved in our projects, we have been able to continue growing and improving, thus achieving new goals and betting on objectives that allow us to have a fairer and more egalitarian society.
NAOS Strategy AWARD
2023
Our exhibition MENJA, ACTUA, IMPACTA has been awarded the NAOS Strategy Award (Nutrition, Physical Activity and Prevention of Obesity), by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN), recognizing the work we do to promote healthy eating in the family and community.
CCNIEC PRIZE of the Institute of Catalan Studies
2023
Our exhibition MENJA, ACTUA, IMPACTA was recognized with the CCNIEC Award for the best initiative of the food industry in the field of improving population nutrition or food education. The prize was awarded on January 27, 2023 by the Institut d’Estudis Catalans.
PAAS AWARD of the Generalitat
2022
Our exhibition MENJA, ACTUA, IMPACTA was recognized with the PAAS Award of the Generalitat de Catalunya that recognizes the projects that work for the Comprehensive Plan for the promotion of health through physical activity and healthy eating. The exhibition “Menja, Actua, Impacta” received the first prize for the Promotion of Health and Healthy Eating in the Community.
SLOW FOOD BARCELONA AWARD
2022
Our exhibition MENJA, ACTUA, IMPACTA was recognized with the Gastronomic Responsibility Award of the Slow Food Barcelona Awards. The award was presented on Friday, September 23 within the framework of the Terra i Gust fair, held during the festivities of La Mercè in Barcelona.
IRLA AWARD – LLUÍS COMPANYS MEMORIAL
2022
The Josep Irla Foundation awarded the Lluís Companys Memorial Prize to the Catalan leisure movement. It was a collective award to the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai, the Movement of Catalan Christian Esplai Centers of the Pere Tarrès i Esplais Catalans Foundation that recognizes the work and dedication of the esplais.
ST GEORGE’S CROSS
2021
We received the Creu de Sant Jordi for our contribution to the leisure education of children and young people, and our professional work that we carry out with various groups and in vulnerable environments. For having contributed to guaranteeing the recognition and effort of the leisure centres it encompasses, and initiating future projects aimed at improving the environment and promoting educational projects and innovative and transformative training itineraries.
LÀBORA SEAL
2015
Barcelona City Council awarded us the Làbora Seal as a collaborating entity in the Làbora Program, which ensures equal opportunities for the citizens of Barcelona.
BRONZE CERTIFICATE – EMAS
2015
In 2015 we received the EMAS Bronze Certificate in recognition of having achieved EMAS recognition for 5 years in a row.
LLUÍS CARULLA AWARD
2013
The objective of this award is to promote projects and recognize experiences and trajectories of an educational nature in the field of social education and leisure. From Fundesplai we promoted a project where more than 120 young people participated, in the recovery of the agricultural landscape of the Ogassa Valley (Ripollès).
FAD AWARDS
2011
The hostel and nature school of Viladoms de Baix, was chosen finalist of the 53rd edition of the FAD Awards of Architecture and Interior Design. The projects by architects Carlos Ferrater and Núria Ayala and quantity surveyor Alexandre Pararols, were finalists among the 498 projects submitted.
CONSTRUMAT AWARDS
2011
The Viladoms de Baix hostel and nature school received a special mention in the building category at the 14th edition of the Construmat Awards. The landscape integration of the installation into the natural environment and the innovative design and use of simple materials were recognized.
ENDESA AWARDS
2010
In 2010, the Centre Esplai building was a finalist in the Endesa Awards for sustainable real estate development, in the non-residential category. It is an award that wants to recognize the people and organizations that promote efficient buildings energetically.
CLUB EMAS
2010
The EMAS Club , with the support of the Department of the Environment and Housing of the Generalitat de Catalunya, awarded the prizes that recognize efforts in environmental management made by organizations. Fundesplai received a special mention in the Best Environmental Statement category.
ENVIRONMENT AWARD OF THE GENERALITAT
2008
Fundesplai received the honorable mention of the 2008 Environment Award in the category of Best Research, Development and Innovation Project aimed at mitigating Climate Change by Centre Esplai. It is a distinction that wants to recognize the work of people, organizations or institutions in favor of the environment in our country.
