Fundesplai with the SDGs
Fundesplai has adhered to the National Agreement for the 2030 Agenda, the starting gun of the Alliance of Catalonia 2030, in order to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. We have the SDGs incorporated into our line of work in all our programs and projects; The values and actions of the entity favor equal opportunities, equity and education for sustainability. Everything to achieve a more just and egalitarian world.
Third sector organisations must play a leading role in achieving the SDGs: we are transformative agents through our programmes, catalysts for social participation and awareness-raising, drivers of new innovative projects and an essential complement to public policies.
Eco-efficient architectural design, photovoltaic solar panels, water reuse… All our facilities seek to achieve maximum environmental and energy efficiency.

Quality education has always been the axis of our mission. Our goal is to reach many more children, young people and families and guarantee the right of everyone, not only to access camps facilities, espalis or school canteen, but to a lifelong education.
Reversing the decline of biodiversity and the deterioration of terrestrial and marine ecosystems are one of the main challenges of this decade. Our work of environmental education and activities in favor of the environment, every year reaches thousands of children, young people and families.
Through educational work we contribute to sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature. Offices, camps facilities and Centre Esplai hostel, training rooms, etc. are sustainable, safe, inclusive and 100% accessible spaces.
The current challenges are great: climate emergency, youth unemployment, poverty, gender inequality… It is imperative that we all get involved. We have the vocation to build new scenarios of opportunities together with other entities.
Our programmes for social inclusion, peace education and citizenship contribute decisively to reducing inequalities and a fairer society.
