On March 7, the meeting of the Schools of the Training Plan of Associations and Volunteering (PFAVC) took place at the Fundesplai Training Center (El Prat de Llobregat). The event was attended by a large part of the schools and Marc Viñas, deputy director general of Social Cooperation and Volunteerism, who highlighted the coordinated work to promote training, expanding virtualization and the use of the virtual classroom.
The meetings of the PFAVC schools are held every six months and work is coordinated by us. In addition, it is the space to address different topics related to the management of the Plan and its coordination, pedagogy and virtualization, always seeking continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to new realities.

On this occasion, there was also space to return the proposals collected in the last meeting in October regarding the needs of the management teams and Coordination of schools and the teachers of the Plan, who ask for more emphasis on pedagogical issues, more administrative simplification and an increase in the dissemination of PFAVC. The head of the PFAVC in the DGACC, Araceli Crespo, sent to the schools the work that is being done in relation to the simplification of procedures, as well as the need to establish meetings at the coordination level.
The DGACC is very clear that greater dissemination of the PFAVC and training must be prioritized. At the meeting, Núria Ruiz, who addresses the communication issues of volunteering at the DGACC, detailed some of the actions that have been planned in the usual channels (Abast, the web…) and showed other possible dissemination resources. In turn, the schools made contributions on issues related to coordination, and made proposals for the dissemination of the Plan in relation to the 30 years that apply in June 2024.
