This Monday, September 21, took place the act of adhesion of a new center to Red Conecta: the Mos Placement Agency, in Pontevedra. The Red Conecta is an initiative jointly promoted by Microsoft and Fundación Esplai with the support of public administrations and social entities to bring computing and Internet closer to people with the most difficulties.
The event was attended by Alberto Méndez Lago, first deputy mayor of the Concello de Mos, and on behalf of Fundación Esplai Núria Valls, general director, Gabriel González, responsible for the area of digital inclusion, Pedro Aguilera, from the area of European relations and projects, who highlighted Microsoft’s role in promoting inclusion projects in Fundación Esplai.
Finally, the techniques of the Snack Placement Agency highlighted the role of the three digital volunteers in the telecentre and the importance of the training that will be given to citizens. In addition, they also highlighted how Beca.MOS and Red Conecta will represent an opportunity to improve the curriculum of young people in the region.
