Within the framework of the celebration of the La Mercè Festival in Barcelona, and given that last year “Eat, Act, Impact” received the Slow Food BCN award, this year Fundesplai we have returned to the Terra i Gust 2023 Fair, the sustainable food festival.
On Saturday, September 23, dozens of families and people interested in sustainable food visited our space at the fair. There they were able to enjoy the activity ‘Eat seasonal and 100% healthy‘. In this way, from Fundesplai we were able to bring citizens closer to the need to reflect on the consumption of ultra-processed foods and their consequences for individual and planet health.
Without a doubt, the time at the Terra i Gust Fair was a success in terms of participation, and awareness, as we got children and adults to understand what they eat and what impact it has, thanks to our 100% healthy game!

The activity presented at the Terra i Gust Fair is linked to the pedagogical proposal that from Fundesplai we developed the last two courses: ‘ Eating changes the world’. In this way, at La Mercè we were able to taste all the work we carry out with children and young people to raise awareness about the impact of our diet and how we can reduce food waste.
In addition, the fair presented Escape Food and Junior Escape Food, two experiences that allow adults and children to enter into an experience to understand the planetary impact on the future of our actions in the present.
