From October 17 to 23, the 7th edition of the Youth Rights Week will be held, a space to promote the participation of young people promoted by Fundesplai since 2010. The Week will take place at CENTRE ESPLAI (El Prat de Llobregat) and the central part of the activities will be on Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 2 October. Young people from Portugal and Catalonia take part in this activity.
“Youth in transformation-action!” will be the theme of the Week, as it will emphasize offering young participants a space for critical reflection, training and participation. Thus, at the conference, young people have the opportunity to participate in workshops on knowledge of new digital tools, artistic creation… and to participate in debates and conferences that revolve around the rights of young people.
Participation of young people
The main objectives of the Week are to promote critical thinking of young participants, favor their inclusion in the labor market and training opportunities and consolidate spaces for democratic youth participation at local, regional and European level.
In Catalonia, for the seventh consecutive time in Europe, Fundesplai organizes the Youth Rights Week, and this edition has the support of the call of the European Union ERASMUS +, the City Council of El Prat de Llobregat and the Barcelona City Council.
