For young people from 13 to 17 years old who wish to contribute with their ideas to create a better world. The awards will be given to the 5 best projects submitted by groups of 2 to 6 people in the format of a video of up to 3 minutes. before January 30, 2021.
Young people whose collective idea becomes a project to build a more sustainable and just world. The Youth for Tomorrow Awards launched by Fundesplai want to recognize young people who want to contribute with their ideas to make a better world through a project. The awards will be given to the 5 best projects submitted by groups of 2 to 6 people aged 13 to 17 in the format of a video of up to 3 minutes before January 30, 2021.
These awards, which have the support of Diari ARA, invite young people to be protagonists of transformative actions and want to recognize the ideas of many of them to improve their communities from a wide variety of spaces.
The Youth for Tomorrow Awardsare especially related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the global achievements of the United Nations that become a framework for global action where social, environmental, educational, etc. dimensions are intertwined.
The launch of these awards is part of Fundesplai’s mission, which includes among its fundamental axes the improvement of sustainability and the promotion of active citizenship, through the development of programs and actions to encourage the participation and inclusion of young people and the improvement of the planet.
In addition, the organization has incorporated the SDGs into its strategic framework as a transversal line in all the initiatives it promotes, among which the Youth for Tomorrow Awards are a major milestone.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The following young people can participate between 13 and 17 years old, residents in Catalonia and organized in groups (from 2 to 6 people).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Submitting by January 30, 2021 a video of up to 3 minutes presenting an initiative driven by the participating group to contribute to the performance of one/s of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
Each of the five finalist groups will win:
- Weekend training stay with the participation of experts in the fields of sustainability, social action and communication.
- Contribution of 300€ so that the group can start its own project or action campaign.
- Dissemination of the project or action campaign in social networks and communication tools of Fundesplai and Diari ARA.
