You can now watch the video summary of the 1st edition of Youth Inclusion, a Fundesplai program that promotes autonomy and socio-occupational inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities.
In this first edition of Youth Inclusion , 10 young people have taken part, who participated in a process of orientation and accompaniment, training in different areas (leisure, communication skills, etc.) and finally of socio-labor inclusion, always with the support of Fundesplai professionals who individually monitor each young person.
Work and volunteerism
Of the 10 young people, 6 are currently working: three in school canteen services, one as a kitchen/dining room assistant at Fundesplai, another in the Accompaniment to Young Mothers and Adolescents (AMA) project and another as an awareness/inclusion technician at Fundesplai. The other young people have done different volunteers in schools, in environmental projects, etc.
The second edition is scheduled to start soon in Castelldefels with the support of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and Castelldefels City Council.
