On January 13, the young people of Tresca Jove of the Youth Department of Fundesplai received the diplomas certifying that they have completed the theoretical part of the training of leisure monitor, framed in the PICE Program of the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona. This initiative seeks the social and labor insertion of young people through a training and accompaniment process.

The event was attended, in addition to the young people, by Èric Plaza, councilman of youth and cooperation of the City Council of Gavà; Gerard Jornet, youth and cooperation technician; David López, head of the youth space La Casa Gran; and Èric Martínez, Head of social and labor insertion of the Youth Department of Fundesplai.
At the moment, most of the young people are in the process of doing their internships, waiting to hand in their leisure monitor’s report, which will accredit them as future professionals in the sector.
