These were the main pillars of the “VII Ibero-American Forum: Making Politics Together” organized by La Liga Iberoamericana, the Rede Pró-Aprendiz and the Fundaçao Pró-Cerrado with the aim of stimulating the creation of policies to support young people and which took place on September 27 and 28 in Brasilia (Brazil). More than 300 young people from Brasilia and the city’s area of influence, international guests and experts in youth policies from Latin America and Europe participated in this conference.

Josep Gassó, president of Fundesplai, participated in the Forum and explained the trajectory and history of La Liga Iberoamericana, as a founding member of this network, and shared with Alejandra Sollà, the current president, the work of the entity in favor of the inclusion of the most vulnerable young people.
On the other hand, Núria Valls, director of Fundación Esplai and vice-president of La Liga, was able to present a study on social innovation, a publication carried out by La Liga Iberoamericana and with the support of the Ibero-American Secretariat in August, entitled “Las Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil Iberoamericanas como dispositivos de Innovación Social”. The activities of the VII Forum were held in the Arnaldo Süssekind Auditorium in the building of the “Tribunal Superior do Trabalho”. One of the most interesting and participative activities was the World Café, where young people and international guests were able to delve into the themes of the Forum.

On the other hand, Enrique Arnanz, president of Fundación Esplai, and Núria Valls, director of Fundación Esplai and deputy director of Fundesplai, participated as representatives of member entities of La Liga in a meeting: “Meeting of Ibero-American Authorities for the promotion and implementation of the Ibero-American Declaration of Juvenile Justice” held on September 21, 22 and 23 in the city of Antigua (Guatemala), with the coordination of the General Secretariat of the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) as the driving body. A Declaration was drawn up which the participating entities undertook to disseminate.
