This Friday, February 7, the spots made by the recreational activities to promote the campaign “No food in the garbage” were premiered in the Auditorium of the Cultural Center of La Guingueta (Hospitalet).“No food in the trash” campaign that promotes the Catalan Federation of Esplai and the entities that are part of the campaign about food waste.
The spots have been elaborated by the youth groups of the Centre del Esplai Montmella Cases – Can Vidalet (Hospitalet – Esplugues de Llobregat), the Grup de Esplai Espurnes (Esplugues de Llobregat) and the Centre de Esplai Tricicle (Sant Joan Despí). This project has been supported by the Méliès Association and the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
These video creations are intended as a tool to raise awareness about food waste as part of the initiative. “No food in the trash” initiative.. In turn, this campaign is part of the educational proposal B612 for consumer education. B612 on consumer education that the Foundation, the Federation and the esplais that are part of it are working on this academic year 2013-2014.
