Within the framework of the international actions of the Tresca Europe project, promoted by Fundación Esplai and financed by Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the Tresca team visited the project partner in Portugal, Fundaçao da Joventude based in Porto.

Within the framework of the international actions of the Tresca Europe project, promoted by Esplai Foundation and financed by Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the Tresca team visited the project partner in Portugal, Fundaçao da Joventude based in Porto.
The Tresca Europe project consists of the transfer of the program for the social and labor inclusion of young people Tresca Joven that Fundesplai (Fundació Catalana de l’Esplai) has developed so far in Catalonia to social entities in Spain, Portugal and Italy and with the participation of 350 young people. A total of 25 young people have already started training in Portugal during the month of April with the entity. Fundaçao Da Joventude as a local partner.
The working visit of the days 8, 9 and 10 April had as main objectives to generate a common workspace between the Tresca Europe team in Porto and Tresca Europe in Barcelona; to visit and learn first-hand how Tresca Europe is being developed in Porto; to share the tools and documentation of work under the project, and the improvements that have been made since November 2013 until now; to validate the work processes of the partner Fundaçao da Joventude, to visualize proposals for support and improvement to the development of the project for the first time in Portugal and to learn first-hand the impressions of the young people participating in the project.
The visit was attended by Maria Bruno, coordinator and head of the Tresca project, and Remei Saez, Tresca project technician. In the coming months, is expected to be able to incorporate the Italian partner Arci to the project at , in order to begin the transfer of the Tresca model, as was done with the partner Fundaçao da Joventude, a few months ago.
