One of the projects presented at the seminar was ‘Conecta Joven El Prat‘, based on Learning and Service (SL) actions. In this sense, the possibility of working together between a non-profit organization, educational centers and city councils and public facilities was put on the table.
This project aims to be an example and proposal to work on intergenerational actions with the youth of the institutes through technology, with training, participation and collaboration.
Fundación Esplai presented the #ChicasInTech project, a campaign to promote scientific and technological skills and vocations among girls and young people.
This campaign proposes different actions to carry out throughout the year taking into account specific dates. It also presents different technological activities to combat the digital gender gap. Among the various resources provided, in addition, the videogame was discussed through which you can meet 3 women references in the history of science and technology through an adventure.
The volunteers from the HP company presented their collaboration project with Fundación Esplai: STEM for girls. In turn, they took the opportunity to reflect on the image we have of women regarding these professions and talked about resources such as Young IT Girls, Ingenuity-Era or 100tífiques.
