The young people of the Cente d’Esplai Pubilla Cases – Can Vidalet have recorded the short film ” A place called home” within the framework of the Learning and Service program . EtheS Nois de l’Esplai have been in charge of writing, shooting and interpreting the short film in which a teenager with problems decides to leave his parents’ house. The premiere was held at the Cultural Center of La Bòbila on June 15.
The story centers on a troubled boy in high school and at home who decides to run away. Then you will meet someone who will help you rectify the situation.
The young people have been guided by two expert monitors in the visual audio world of the Melies Association. They themselves have been in charge of the entire process, from writing the script to recording the images, editing and interpreting the characters.
The young people wanted the short film to reflect the anxiety of adolescence. In fact, explains Aïda Macià, head of the Casal Jove Esplai Pubilla Cases-Can Vidalet, “we focused on this topic because we believed it is what can most interest boys of this age”. For years, in the world of leisure she has been working with different Learning and Service projects that allow them to carry out community activities.
