The teams participating in the Summer Charity Gymkhana They have organized during these days different gastronomic and sports actions… to make it possible for all children to enjoy summer camps and camps! There are already 125 children who will be able to leave camp thanks to the Solidarity Gymkhana!
Coffee tasting
On Thursday, June 12, thanks to the collaboration of Cafès Novell, there was a solidarity coffee tasting. Participants were able to learn what great types of coffees exist, how they are combined, how the quality of the product is valued and its price is set in the coffee market, how it affects the roasting process, what a certified coffee is and how to promote social responsibility … These and many other things were learned by the participants with El Coffeeman (Manel Batet). The proceeds from participating in this tasting went to the scholarship campaign.
ACES in the hole dinner
The team ACES in the hole organized a charity dinner at CENTRE ESPLAI on Friday, June 13. All proceeds from this gastronomic evening, which enjoyed a very festive atmosphere, went to “A summer for everyone!”.
Hike L’Hospitalet – Montserrat de Servesplai
Mercè Lluveras and Cristina Rodríguez, from the Servesplai, completed the walk L’Hospitalet – Montserrat last weekend of Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June. It was 55 kilometers of solidarity, since many people made an economic contribution for the distance traveled.
Closing ceremony of cooking and catering courses
The participants in the cooking and catering courses, framed in the “Youth for employment” program of the City Council of El Prat, and that has taught the Center of Studies in CENTRE ESPLAI, made a closing lunch on Tuesday, June 17 where all the dishes and service were of the students. All the money that was collected from the diners went to the scholarship campaign.
