The Minister of Social Rights of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Carles Campuzano, and the Mayoress of Hospitalet de Llobregat, Núria Marín, visited this morning the Club Esplai Bellvitge, which is part of Fundesplai. The meeting was also attended by the Secretary for Children, Adolescents and Youth, Núria Valls, and the Deputy Mayor for Social Rights, Laura García. On behalf of Fundesplai, the president Josep Gassó, the general director Cristina Rodríguez, and the deputy general director, Carles Xifra, as well as other representatives of the foundation attended.
Summer educational leisure at Bellvitge
During the day, they have been able to see various workshops and activities and have shared moments and conversations with children and young people from Club d’Esplai Bellvitge and Club Esplai Can Serra, both from Hospitalet de Llobregat, about the educational leisure activities they are doing. In this sense, the young people have explained their enriching experience in the work camp for the recovery of the natural environment on the Costa Brava.
During the tour, which was led by the director of CE Bellvitge, Xavi Castellanos, they were also able to chat with a group of people with functional diversity, who explained the activities they are developing and how they are planning the camps that start next week.
The Club Esplai Bellvitge summer center is part of the more than 1,100 batches of educational leisure activities that Fundesplai is organizing this summer 2023.
