Josep Gonzàlez Cambray, Minister of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, visited this Thursday, January 19, 2023, the headquarters of Fundesplai in El Prat de Llobregat. During the visit he was able to talk to young people from Demà Jove, visit the exhibition “Menja. Actua. Impacta” and know the present and future projects of the entity.
Josep Gonzàlez Cambray, Minister of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, visited this Thursday, January 19, 2023, the headquarters of Fundesplai in El Prat de Llobregat. Cambray met with Josep Gassó and Cristina Rodríguez, President and CEO of Fundesplai, respectively. The meeting was also attended by Albert Grau, Director of Territorial Education Services of Baix Llobregat, Carles Xifra, Director of Innovation and Contents of Fundesplai, and Oriol Carbonell, Manager of 7iTria.

This visit is part of a cycle of meetings that the organization is holding with different institutional representatives, companies and entities, to publicize the present and future projects of the entity.
During the visit, Cambray was able to talk to a group of young people from Demà Jove, the socio-occupational inclusion program promoted by Fundesplai and in which more than 300 young people participate. He has also been able to visit the innovative exhibition “Menja. Actua. Impacta” on healthy and sustainable food located at the entity’s headquarters.
The representatives of Fundesplai have detailed in Cambray the educational, social and environmental programs promoted by the entity in schools, esplais, summer camps, etc. and future projects. Also the socio-educational work in the Sant Cosme neighborhood of El Prat de Llobregat, where Centre Esplai is located, the headquarters of Fundesplai that includes, among others, a kitchen and a hostel that is usually at 90% occupancy.
