Monitors and children and young people from the esplais of the Federation are visiting the exhibition on sustainable and healthy food.
The need for people – especially children and young people – to have better food choices has never been more important. The most viable method is through knowledge, understanding and commitment towards sustainable, healthy and accessible food for all. For this reason, from the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai we are promoting that esplais can come to know the exhibition “Menja. Actua. Impacta” and proposals for playful experimentation, games, workshops, to enhance skills and abilities around sustainable and healthy eating.
We consider it very important that the educational teams know about the exhibition to promote that during the course and summer they can come with their children, young people and families to visit the exhibition, enjoy the educational workshops and the next children’s escape room. We must encourage new generations to join the individual change that will allow them to connect with collective action!
In the coming weeks we are organizing visits on weekends so that the monitors of the different territories where we have esplais, can enjoy the exhibition and the various activities. During the Christmas holidays, we also held an open day and many esplais took advantage of the winter camps to come with children and young people. Esplai Can Serra (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat), L’Esplai el Nus (Sant Joan Despí), Esplai Diversitat Lúdica (Sant Feliu de Llobregat), Esplai Mowgli (Cornellà de Llobregat), among others, have participated in these actions. Also on January 22, 25 monitors from the Baix Llobregat territorial unit participated.
In these meetings, we will take the opportunity to work with the educational teams of the leisure centers, the Days of the Federation that will take place on March 12 at Centre Esplai.
