The Centre for the Promotion of Learning and Service has just launched “Quaderns ApS”, a collection that aims to publicize studies and reflections on service learning and which opens with a first document written by Salvador Carrasco entitled Service learning, values and training of monitors.
Salvador Carrasco, professor of Sociology and member of the Board of Trustees of Fundesplai, collects in this first monograph a set of short essays that link service learning and education in values with the world of leisure.
Since its inception, the Centre for the Promotion of Learning and Service has promoted the dissemination of this educational methodology that integrates community service with the learning of content, competences, skills and values through its virtual library, different experiences, guides, etc.
