On July 8, the inauguration ceremony of the new ” Red Conecta” of Fundación Esplai and Microsoft in the town of Villena, with the presence of Francisco Javier Esquembre, mayor of the town, Juan Carlos Pedrosa, Councilor for Economic Development and Gabriel González as head of the E-inclusion Area of Fundación Esplai. The “Red Conecta” is a network of telecentres promoted by Fundación Esplai and Microsoft with the support of public administrations and companies in order to offer new job opportunities through information and communication technologies.
During the presentation of the Fundación Esplai project, those responsible for the City Council highlighted the importance of joining forces with entities of the Third Sector, for the incorporation of resources that improve training, access to information and qualification of the residents of Villena, being the improvement of employability and access to technology, A priority for the municipal team.
The event gave different professionals and volunteers linked to associations of people with disabilities, youth, women and migrants, the opportunity to know first-hand the work that Fundación Esplai develops in the field of e-inclusion and that can now be implemented in the Training Resource Center of Villena, which adds to its offer as a Mentor Classroom. the lines of work of Conecta projects and Microsoft accreditations through the program scholarship.
