The conference, co-organized by Fundesplai and the CRAM Foundation, will take place next Thursday, May 26, at 6:00 p.m., and will be in virtual format.
What alternatives can we find to regular fishing? Can we consume fish more responsibly?
These issues will be resolved next Thursday, May 26, at 6:00 p.m., at the online conference “Fishing and responsible consumption”, co-organized by Fundesplai and the CRAM Foundation and belonging to the cycle of conferences of the European project EAT:LIFE.

The day will feature three main interventions. The first will be by the representative of the CRAM Foundation Irene Antúnez, who will explain what impacts overfishing causes on marine ecosystems and health.
Next, Anna Bozzano, member of the organization El Peix al Plat, will present local fishing as an alternative to regular fishing. Ignasi Gairín, member of the IRTA research institute, will talk about aquaculture and will be in charge of closing the block of presentations. Afterwards, there will be a question and debate session with the participating public.
