Healthy and sustainable eating is a lever of change. With this premise works the EUKI project “Parem Taula pel Clima”, shared with the entities Umanotera of Slovenia and Fifty-Fifty of Greece.
As a result of this alliance, the three entities have developed an educational guide and a Digital escape room interactive where activities related to the theme are proposed for children and adolescents. Both materials describe the activities step by step with the aim of being an inspiration, especially for educators in formal, non-formal and informal environments. It is also aimed at any person, organization or government agency interested in the link between food and climate change.

The guide also includes proposals for activities with all the necessary information: objective, recommended age, necessary materials, etc. However, it is recommended to adapt the activities to the context and needs of each group of children, educational environment and region. The purpose of this set of tools is to promote the adoption of awareness-raising measures around sustainable food in educational environments and promote the participation of children and young people in caring for the environment.
All materials are governed by seven basic principles: prioritize the consumption of plant-based products, Choose foods produced in organic or biodynamic agriculture, End waste, consume seasonal food, buy food produced as close as possible and in the fairest way possible, avoid packaging as much as possible and prioritize the Fresh products before the defendants.
