The new editions of the Youth Inclusion and Encoratja’t programs begin. In addition, the new project Opening eyes for women with functional diversity is launched.
Opening eyes
Fundesplai launches the new project Obrint mirades: per un lleure inclusivo. It is a program subsidized by the Department of Equality and Feminism, which has two main objectives: on the one hand, to promote the empowerment of women with functional diversity through initiatives focused on their personal, social and formative development; and, on the other hand, to influence the defense of the fundamental rights of people with intellectual disabilities, with a gender and intersectional perspective, carrying out awareness actions to professionals in the field of educational leisure of the entity.
This project will be led by 6 women with intellectual disabilities and will have an impact on 200 leisure professionals with a direct awareness action and more than 100 entities, services or projects that will receive a resource to make leisure more inclusive in their daily work.
Youth inclusion
On the other hand, a new edition ofYouth Inclusion with the aim of promoting autonomy and independent living of Young people with functional diversity and/or mental health diagnosis, through the Social and labour inclusion to companies, services or entities in the field of leisure, providing the necessary support and contributing to each person being able to develop their life project.
The Youth Inclusion program begins on February 20 and there are two options:
- In El Prat de Llobregat from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- In L’Hospitalet de Llobregat from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Encoratja’t yourself
Another edition of the Encoratja’t programme also begins in February, an initiative to support full inclusion for young women in situations of social vulnerability with objectives such as promoting employment, facilitating the transition to the labour market and guaranteeing their support throughout the process.
In addition, it is combined with interventions in different areas of action, especially educational, emotional, training and the labor market.
This program offers two itineraries:
- Leisure monitor.
- Kitchen assistant.

In previous editions, Youth Inclusion and Encoratja’t had more than 40% of people inserted in the world of work or with a return from the education system.
