This Tuesday, January 28th at the Esplai Bellvitge Club (Hospitalet) two key actions were carried out within the framework of the Program. TrescaTresca: the beginning of a new mentoring process and the closing of the Tresca Joven 2013 generation. Tresca is an initiative for the social and labor inclusion of young people promoted by the Foundation.
Presentation of the Mentors to the youths
During the morning, a group of Tresca youth met with the group of mentors who have joined the program, most of whom are part of VAE, Volunteers in Entrepreneurial Consulting . In addition, the event was also attended by mentors who participate as individuals.
The intention of the activity was a double presentation: from the mentors to the youth and from the youth to the mentors.
From the Tresca program, a new path of accompaniment to young people begins, which in this case acquires a different and very enriching aspect with the proposal of an intergenerational relationship. Since this day the young people have already chosen a mentor and we will start the activities and next meetings during the month of February. The mentor will advise the young people on the best training and employment paths to follow,
This new stage begins with great enthusiasm and excitement, since these actions are a new resource to share the vital and professional experiences of the mentors and the energy and vitality of the young people, which will surely be enriching for everyone.
Closing ceremony Tresca Joven generation 2013
On the other hand, the same Tuesday afternoon came the time to reap the fruits, as the young people of Tresca Joven of the generation of 2013 collected their qualifications as monitors of children and youth leisure.
They did so in a closing ceremony where, apart from handing out the degrees, we wrote a farewell letter to Tresca and were able to hang our fruits on a tree that will continue to grow and bear fruit.
