As part of the celebration of World Futures Day, the EAT:LIFE projectis organising the cycle of conferences “The futures of sustainable food”.

The first session will revolve around the importance of eco-design when manufacturing products and materials for food use that have a lower environmental impact, contributing to build a circular food system without loss or waste. In addition, the new Waste Law, which will come into force on January 1, 2023 and will especially affect the catering sector, will also be discussed.
The event will feature Mariana Eidler, director of ELISAVA’s Food Design Lab and co-founder of FORK, The Food Design Organization, and Sofía Garín, circular design expert and project manager of the sustainable innovation consultancy Inèdit.
