CENTRE ESPLAI, the headquarters of Fundesplai (Fundació Catalana de l’Esplai), hosted this Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, the meeting of entities Xarxa C² (committed citizenship), promoted by Fundesplai itself. These days brought together entities that work with values education programs aimed at children and youth (mainly) in the field of free time with the methodological axis of service learning.

 

The meeting of Xarxa C² was attended by representatives of entities and institutions that are part of this initiative: the Youth Agency of Burjassot (Valencia), the City Council of Guia d’Isora (Tenerife), the Club de Esplai Jovent (Mallorca), the Raval-AID Association (Malaga) and the Foundation.

 

The main objectives of this network are to link more closely the entities and institutions that work in education in values in leisure, promote the educational methodology of service learning and make visible and contribute to the social recognition of the work carried out by these entities.

 

 

During the meeting, the different entities will present good practices in the field of service learning, they will be able to know the proposal of “Consumer education” focused on sustainability and the block Xarxa Ciutadania Compromesa was presented.
