“Get the Summer right – A summer for everyone!”, the campaign of camps, family holidays and scholarships. All in estiu.fundesplai.org.
More than 1,200 activities for children and young people, holidays for families at social prices and very affordable, help to finance activities for families and an important social mobilization so that all children can enjoy the camps this summer. These are the pillars of Fundesplai’s “Get Summer Right – A Summer for Everyone!” campaign.
The campaign includes a wide range of summer camps, camps and work camps of the highest quality for children and young people from 3 to 25 years old: sports centers, English, adventure or dance camps, work camps in the heart of the Empordà or Montsec… are just some of the activities you can choose from estiu.fundesplai.org, the specific website of the campaign launched by Fundesplai.
Making it possible for all children to enjoy the summer is one of Fundesplai’s priorities and, for this reason, “Get the Summer right – A summer for everyone!” includes an important effort to offer scholarships and aid to children from families with more difficulties. This initiative is possible thanks to the support of public administrations such as the Generalitat, the Diputació de Barcelona, the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, different municipalities, companies, entities and individuals.
Different measures
The campaign also includes a self-financing system through a summer raffle, which allows families to recover up to 100% of the cost of the activity. Solidarity Gymkhana, a recreational and solidarity competition for teams to raise funds for scholarships, and the camps in August and September to guarantee the care of children in the most vulnerable situations.
Family holidays
On the other hand, “Get the Summer right – A summer for everyone!” also opens the holiday homes and hostels during the month of August so that families can spend a few days off. Prices are very affordable since, for example, one week in August for 2 adults and 2 children up to 16 years old, on a full-board basis and with nature activities included costs 566 euros.
