On June 15 and 16 will take place the 7th Congress of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia in which non-profit organizations from the territory participate. The objective is to create a meeting space where experiences can be shared and respond to the new challenges in which the Third Sector finds itself.
Fundesplai will participate in the congress explaining various initiatives that have been carried out within the entity to provide support in this area, above all, taking into account the needs and the situation caused by the pandemic.
In the section of Tables of experiences, Suport Tercer Sector will present in the section of digitalization the ‘Guide of good practices‘, which includes examples of success in the process of digitization of non-profit entities through the DigitalizaciONG project.
In the communication and visibility section, Fundesplai will also be present presenting two proposals implemented during the confinement period. On the one hand, in the project ‘Communication and digital resources in times of pandemic’, various participatory resources were generated. For example, a digital escape room for families (which had about 20,000 visits), a survey aimed at children and young people to design summer activities in a participatory way (with 1,000 participants), webinars in which users participated in the debate, several videos with opinions of children and young people… In addition, to give visibility to all the resources generated, the active role of dissemination by all users and related to the entity was constantly needed.
Secondly, ‘Third Sector actions to transform the world‘ focuses on the involvement of food at the heart of the climate crisis. 115,000 children and young people participated as beneficiaries of the project, and up to 20,000 who led the awareness-raising actions in the territories. This project promoted a series of educational and awareness-raising actions aimed mainly at boys and girls as engines of change.
