About 80 coordinators and cooks of Fundesplai from more than 40 schools where the entity is present have participated this Thursday, September 8, in the meeting of beginning of the course that has taken place in CENTRE ESPLAI (El Prat de Llobregat).
At the conference, Cristina Rodríguez, manager of School Services and Summer Camps of Fundesplai, and Cristòfol Ortolà, head of the Department of School Programs of Fundesplai, presented the novelties of this new schoolchild, among which stands out “Participate!”, the proposal to promote child participation at noon.
“Participate!”
This pedagogical proposal considers midday time as an educational space full of opportunities to develop activities that are based on the interests of children, that have been designed with them and that above all make their participation a reality. This initiative includes a series of activities, structured by age, that allow reflection and playful practice of the participation of girls and boys.
During the second part, the different participants have been divided into groups and have worked on different dynamics related to their areas: cooking, management, attention to diversity, dynamization of activities at noon time… These activities have served to train coordinators and cooks and provide them with pedagogical and management tools that will serve them throughout the course. During the school year, they will participate in other, more specific training activities.
