Fundesplai has adhered to the National Agreement for the 2030 Agenda, approved by the Government of the Generalitat, which is the starting point of the Aliança Catalunya 2030.
Fundesplai has joined the National Agreement for the 2030 Agenda, approved by the Government of the Generalitat, which is the starting signal of the Aliança Catalunya 2030, a great coalition of entities, public administrations, companies, unions … in order to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set for the United Nations.

Josep Gassó, president of the organization, took part in the event held at the Recinto Modernista Hospital Sant Pau (Barcelona) last Friday, February 21, where a total of 33 entities from different fields (social, educational, trade unions…) signed the agreement of adhesion to the Alliance, which seeks to share strategies, projects and resources to promote the achievement of the SDGs.
Essential role of the Third Sector
The document pivots on five axes: the urgency of action, the transformative potential of the SDGs, their global nature, the fact that they are indivisible (they must all be developed to achieve a more just, sustainable and peaceful world) and that the whole process must be carried out in a balanced way between economic, social, environmental, educational achievements…
During the event, the essential role that the Third Sector must play in the development of the SDGs was highlighted, as they are transforming agents through the programs they develop, catalysts of participation and drivers of innovative initiatives.
The event was attended by the President of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, the Vice President of the Government and Minister of Economy and Finance, Pere Aragonès, and the Minister of Foreign Action, Institutional Relations and Transparency, Alfred Bosch.
