Fundesplai (Fundació Catalana de l’Esplai) regularly collaborates with the Food Bank Foundation in its task to fight against hunger. Both the entity itself and the esplais that are part regularly promote food collection initiatives, while working to raise awareness of this problem with children and young people.
In this line of collaboration, Fundesplai has recently donated 1,650 kg of organic potatoes to the Food Bank Foundation. In addition, it should be noted that last year the esplais of the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai developed the campaign “No food in the trash”, on food waste.
