On June 7, Fundesplai began the management of the Castelldefels Municipal facility: the Vista Alegre Civic Center. This is a space that will be energized by colleagues from the Department of Social and Educational Action of Fundesplai, who will develop a community action to revitalize the different spaces according to the needs of the neighborhood.
The civic center has two main lines of work in charge of Fundesplai: sustainability and coexistence. In order to develop them, the equipment is part of the educational proposal ‘Eating changes the world!’. For this reason, a tasting of the exhibition “Menja. Acts. Impact” on sustainable and healthy food.
On June 18, the inauguration of the new Vista Alegre CC was celebrated with music, dance, games and workshops. The free wall for graffiti was also released.
In the civic center there are services such as digitization and training activities, cultural entities or the Day Care Service for Children and Adolescents. There is also the House of Crafts, two basketball courts and the future ONLAB digital outreach center.
