The document signed on Tuesday, April 24, 2021 foresees that the two institutions collaborate in the academic, scientific and professional fields.

Develop teaching projects related to lifelong learning, research, knowledge transfer and innovation and dissemination on subjects of common interest to both institutions. This is the main objective of the collaboration agreement signed on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, by the rector of the University of Vic (UVic), Josep Eladi Baños, and the president of Fundesplai, Josep Gassó.
The document, which lays the foundations for different collaborations in the academic, scientific and professional fields, also foresees that both institutions can make use of different spaces in order to carry out training and dissemination actions.
Josep Gassó explained: “the signing of this agreement has to do with one of the axes of our foundation, which is the training of volunteers, which is not always sufficiently recognized although it is of high quality”. And he added that “the alliance with UVic-UCC opens up many prospects for us to carry out projects together, sharing synergies and knowledge”.
For his part, the rector of UVic-UCC expressed his desire to start collaborating and recalled that “education is one of the foundational pillars of this university in the broadest sense, since the foundation of the School of Teachers in 1977, the Eumo publishing house or the more recently created Chair of Social Services”.
The event was also attended by the vice-rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer, Jordi Collet; the general director of Fundesplai, Cristina Rodríguez; and the director of Innovation and Contents, Carles Xifra.
