The Catalan Vocational Training Championship, catSkills, is a competition organized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, in which selected students from secondary schools throughout Catalonia participate who face a practical test, in one of the 41 skills or competences, such as cabinetmaking, mechanics, accounting or the use of software applications. It is precisely in this last category that Fundación Esplai has been able to collaborate by sponsoring the event thanks to the collaboration of the scholarship program. MOS performs with the IES Esteve Terrades in Cornellà.
The test, which lasts about 6 hours, presents students with a total of 8 practical exercises based on real cases that must be solved using the Microsoft Office package.
The 14 young people who participated during the day of June 18 have received, thanks to Fundación Esplai and Microsoft, a USB stick with an Office 2013 Professional license as a prize for their participation.
