Fundación Esplai organizes next Friday, November 21, at the Impact Hub in Madrid (Calle Gobernador 26) the #foro14c2, to share good experiences in the field of committed citizenship, and will present the awards “Fundación Esplai Ciudadanía Comprometida”, who want to recognize the work of people who collaborate with social organizations to improve society.

The #foro14c2 will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the presentation of Imma Mayol, general director of Fundación Esplai, which will give way to the inaugural conference “Committed Citizenship” by sociologist Enrique Arnanz.
Subsequently, a workspace will be developed organized by different tables in which four themes will be addressed: “Weaving Service Learning proposals – Conecta Joven”; “E-inclusion projects facing the challenges of today’s society – Red Conecta”; “Social action and interculturality – Red Conecta Migración” and “CreActiva: political advocacy table on youth entrepreneurship”. These tables will end at 1 p.m., when the work done will be shared.
“Fundación Esplai Ciudadanía Comprometida Awards”
At 1:30 p.m. the “Fundación Esplai Ciudadanía Comprometida Awards” will be awarded, which recognize the altruistic work of people who collaborate with social entities to improve society. These awards are given between categories: Promotion of the Third Sector, Socio-educational Innovation and Work for e-Inclusion.
These awards reflect the legacy of the “Fundación Esplai Volunteering Awards”, which have been awarded since 2010 to recognize the altruistic work in favor of the well-being of people and for the transformation and social cohesion carried out by volunteers.
Finally, from 15:30 to 17:00, the day will end with a working group on European funding of social projects.
