On 3, 4 and 5 November the Foundation of the Ocular Microsurgery Institute (IMO), Caritas and Fundesplai are launching a new campaign of free eye check-ups for children, dedicated to research, teaching and prevention of eye diseases. Last year, the collaboration of the three entities allowed this initiative to be launched for the first time.
IMO ophthalmologists travel to the Pubilla Cases – Can Vidalet Recreation Centre, where they set up a space as a true ophthalmological clinic to care for various children. Subsequently, a periodic follow-up will be established for cases that require it. In the case of children who need glasses, the IMO Foundation itself is responsible for providing them free of charge.
More than 100 children from different esplais of the Federation will participate in this campaign!
