On June 8, the Born Market will host the Espai Làbora, a networking day between people with difficulties in accessing the labor market and companies with open selection processes.
The Espai Làbora is a networking day between companies and people looking for work. The event It is part of the Làbora program, led by the Municipal Institute of Social Services of the Barcelona City Council with the collaboration of the social entities ECAS, FEiCAT and Red Cross.
The objective of the day is, on the one hand, to publicize the entire Làbora program and, on the other, to promote the labor insertion of people with difficulties in accessing the labor market, putting them in direct contact with companies with open personnel selection processes.
During the conference, representatives of Barcelona City Council and collaborating social entities will present the results obtained so far within the framework of the program and, at the same time, will deliver the Làbora Seal to companies that have already closed an employment contract with the group of users or that have actively participated in the program.
More than 40 confirmed companies
From 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a networking space has been organized with a series of individualized and group job interviews between the more than 40 confirmed companies and the approximately 300 people looking for work derived from Social Services of the Barcelona City Council.
Parallel to this interview space, several talks and workshops will be held on topics related to employability, job search strategies, profiles required by companies, etc. in which representatives will participate, among others, of Infojobs, Eral Grup, Fundesplai, Fundació Èxit, Suport Associatiu and Cresàlida.
Users will have a personalized roadmap where they will find their interview schedule as well as recommendations on the workshops, talks and stands of companies that they should visit.
