This Saturday, May 8, we enjoyed a free online concert with the children’s entertainment group The Penguins. You can see the show by clicking here!
This year, coinciding with the date on which we would normally celebrate Esplai Party, but still with the limitations established by Procicat, we organized an activity called Passaport fEstiu and which had as a highlight the online concert by the children’s entertainment group The Penguins on Saturday 8 May. The objectives were the same as that of the festival: to close the course of the esplais and the schools and kick off the campaign of summer activities that this year has the slogan “Let’s make a better world possible!”
Festive passportit included a virtual gymkhana and the aforementioned streaming concert by the animation group of The Penguins. The gymkhana was related to NuSOS, our educational proposal for global citizenship. Passing this test gave access to be able to watch in streaming the music concert that made us children and adults dance and that was held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at CENTRE ESPLAI (El Prat de Llobregat), which was broadcast on our website www.fundesplai.org.
The gymkhana was a virtual journey around the world through a series of tests and was divided into 5 parts that correspond to 5 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals : people, prosperity, planet, peace and partnership. To access the concert you had to pass 4 tests, which allowed access to the Festive Passport that gave access to the 5th test that we all did together in the concert!
The Festive Passport It wants to be a passport that does not understand borders, that unites and builds bridges and that will serve us for children, young people, monitors, families… In schools, youth centers, educational spaces and everyone who wants to participate we can share a joint activity that, as the motto of the summer campaign says, allows us to make a better world possible.
