Educational references is the name of the new project promoted by Fundesplai in the field of young people, a pilot experience through which young immigrants between 18 and 30 years old and from different origins (Colombia, Brazil, Honduras, Morocco, Cuba, Ecuador) and cultures participate in a socio-educational and meaningful proposal in order to create a new path of life.

References is a project for the inclusion of immigrants in specific situations of vulnerability (mostly young people who are in a situation of unexpected irregularity, regrouped, asylum seekers, pending rooting reports, etc.) in which the entity offers training and accompaniment so that they become educational references in schools and leisure centers, establishing links and bridges between children, families and the educational community.
These young people receive training in Catalan language and culture, given by the Consortium for Linguistic Normalization, and the course of child and youth leisure monitors with their respective practices, by Fundesplai.
The proposal began on September 26 with a group of 20 people with a lot of potential and strength who deserve an opportunity to realize themselves and make their way to a new life.
The Educational References project is a Fundesplai project that is framed within the Return to Work Programs (PRT) of the Secretariat for Equality, Migration and Citizenship of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
