The Condissupermarket chain and the company WorldCoo have reached an agreement with Fundesplai and Fundació Esplai to launch a fundraising campaign for the solidarity campaign of scholarships for summer camps and homes for children in vulnerable situations through solidarity rounding.
All people who shop at Condis stores, mostly located in Catalonia and the Community of Madrid, and pay with an electronic card will be able to round up the amount of their purchase and the WorldCoo platform will allocate these extra cents to the Fundesplai solidarity campaign. In addition, a campaign is being carried out in the establishments with posters and information leaflets for customers.

It’s very simple! When paying by credit card for your purchase, you will be asked if you want to round up the final price and thus give a small amount to the cause. This time the rounding becomes 0.50 cents, for example, a purchase of 42.20 euros will have the possibility of rounding to 42.50 euros, giving 0.30 cents to solidarity.

Solidarity campaign so that all children can go to the summer camps and summer camps
For Fundesplai, leisure education is a right and that is why it has always ensured that all children can participate.
Since 2011 Fundesplai organizes a campaign to raise funds to be able to grant scholarships and aid and ensure that no child is left out of the camps and summer camps for economic reasons. In the last year we were able to award 4,844 scholarships. However, this year the circumstances are doubly special, because if last year Catalonia 31.2% of children lived in poverty, the economic and social crisis that will result from the Covid-19 health crisis will make this situation much worse.
As of mid-June 2020, 4,228 scholarship applications have already been received 4,228 scholarship applications suggesting that many more will have applied by the end of the summer than last year.
