Fundesplai joins the European networks Eurochild and CEFEC-Social Firms Europe and the international platform School Meals Coalition to advance our commitment to childhood, employment of disadvantaged people and healthy eating.
At the end of May, Fundesplai became part of Eurochild, a European network of organizations that work with and for children. It is made up of 211 members and is present in 42 countries and has as its main objectives to promote positive changes in the lives of children, particularly those who are in a situation of vulnerability. We participated in the Eurochild convention in Malta where we had the opportunity to meet other organizations, learn and collaborate on various topics of interest to children such as child participation and child protection in the digital world.
The entry into Eurochild has coincided with the entry into CEFEC-Social Firms Europe, a network of more than 70 members present in 28 countries which promotes the exchange of experiences and seeks to promote initiatives to support the employment of people in disadvantaged situations.
Likewise, Fundesplai has also joined the School Meals Coalition, a platform made up of 105 countries and 135 partners dedicated to facilitating healthy nutrition for children.
The entry into these three networks during 2024 reinforces the internationalization vocation of Fundesplai, which already works with other organizations such as the Liga Iberoamericana de Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil or the European Alliance for Apprenticeships, focused on promoting the employment of young people through practical experiences.
