Last Wednesday, April 21, the president of Fundesplai, Josep Gassó, and the president of the CRAM Foundation, Josep Lluís Pal, signed an agreement between both entities that will consolidate and promote common objectives, such as the defense of the environment and the will to educate and sensitize new generations and the population in general. Both entities, in addition to sharing a neighborhood in El Prat de Llobregat, have in common a long history at the service of altruism, education and sustainability, that is, of working to make a better world possible.

Precisely the Foundation for the Conservation and Recovery of Marine Animals (CRAM) celebrated its 25th anniversary this Saturday, April 24, with an inaugural ceremony at its facilities located at the foot of the beach of El Prat de Llobregat. The event was attended by the mayor of El Prat, Lluís Mijoler, the vice-president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, and the president of the CRAM Foundation, who, in their speeches, have highlighted the work carried out by the CRAM Foundation in its 25 years of history. The event was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, and the Minister of Territory and Sustainability. All the members of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Fundesplai have also participated, including its vice-president Anna Romeu, who has recently also joined the CRAM Board of Trustees and holds one of its vice-presidencies.

During the event, the exciting history of the CRAM Foundation was reviewed and, also, the future was discussed. In this sense, in their speeches, both the president of the CRAM Foundation and Pere Aragonès referred to the importance of the recent collaboration agreement between the CRAM Foundation and Fundesplai.

The event culminated with the release of 5 sea turtles recovered at CRAM that were already discharged from the veterinary area to be reintroduced into their natural environment.
