The Centre Esplai Hostel (El Prat de Llobregat) hosted between March 27 and April 3 14 young people who participated in the face-to-face part of the Trampoline monitor course in Catalonia, a pioneering initiative that will allow participants to obtain a valid degree to work in France, Andorra and Spain.

Different public administrations in France, Aragon and Catalonia promote the initiative. In this last territory, it is promoted by the Catalan Youth Agency, with the support of Fundesplai, which develops the trainings. Trampoline  is part of the European cross-border cooperation program Interreg V-A Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA) 2014-2020 and has been 65% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

In total, 45 young people from the three territories and 9 teachers (3 for each area) participate and it is expected that the participants will do the internships in July in France in camps facilities or camps. The entire training process (theoretical and practical) will end in August and October, when the young people present the mandatory report, the degrees that will enable them to work in France, Spain and Andorra will be awarded.

During the presentation session of the face-to-face part of the course, on Saturday, March 27, 2021, Laia Girós, General Director of Youth of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Cristina Rodríguez, General Director of Fundesplai, intervened, who stressed the importance of being able to share leisure projects between different territories and how Trampoline will facilitate labor mobility for young people with this title.

It should be noted that the Centre Esplai Hostel, headquarters of Fundesplai, already hosted in February 2020 a training conference for the teachers of the course to share the syllabus.
