The first May Festival was held on 31 May 1986 in Torreblanca Park, which became the annual festival of Movibaix. Since 2005, under the name of “Festa Esplai” and under the umbrella of Fundesplai, the party, which is still celebrated in May, moves to Parc Nou del Prat de Llobregat.
