What are food systems and what role does design play in shaping them?, can we achieve a more sustainable world through food design? These are some of the issues that will be exposed and discussed at the online conference “Food design and food systems”, co-organized by Fundesplai and the FORK organization.

The conference is part of the European project EAT:LIFE, and will feature interventions by Fabio Parasecoli, professor at the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University; and Sonia Massari, professor at the Department of Agricultural Food and Environment at the University of Pisa, Italy. The co-founder of the FORK organization, Mariana Eidler, will be in charge of presenting and moderating the event.
