The award was given in the category of best initiative of the food industry in the field of improving population nutrition or food education.
On Friday, January 27, the Catalan Centre for Nutrition of the Institute of Catalan Studies presented the CCNIEC awards. Among the award-winning initiatives was the exhibition ‘Menja. Actua. Impacta.‘ as the best initiative of the food industry in the field of improving population nutrition or food education.
This exhibition proposes a journey of discovery of the effects of our way of eating and the extraordinary opportunities for improvement that we have if we change the current food system.
The Catalan Centre for Nutrition of the Institute of Catalan Studies aims to contribute to research applied to nutrition and to improve information and training in this field. With this intention, it annually announces the CCNIEC awards, in which it recognizes different initiatives around nutrition through four awards.
