More than thirty people from seven European countries attended the closing of this European program coordinated by Fundesplai.
The YoPeVa project is an Erasmus+ programme, funded by the European Commission, which aims to adapt the methodology promoted by Fundesplai to the Youth Tomorrow programme to the European context. This, based on joint work with entities from different European countries, achieved its main objective with the presentation of its results to the European Parliament on November 17. These entities have worked for more than a year together in the construction of a model that improves the labor insertion of young people in Europe through training and employment.
This This closing ceremony invited the partners of the project and different agents linked to them to be able to share projects, experiences and ideas to promote the employability of young people. Fundesplai considers the experiences developed with this methodology to be successful and, therefore, they have been presented with the current implementation of the project in our territory, Demà Jove, by the same young people participating in the project.
In this sense, it was possible to count on the participation of the University of Barcelona and entities from Sweden (Vuxenutbildningen Boras), Romania (ACDC), Italy (CESIE), Netherlands (Business Development Friedland) and Portugal (Fundaçao da Juventude), and the entities with which it works such as training, work, chambers of commerce and representatives of the local administration of the different countries. Specifically, in the Catalan case, the General Director of the Public Employment Service of Catalonia – SOC and part of his team attended.
