Since June, Fundesplai has been in charge of the revitalization of the Vista Alegre Civic Center (Castelldefels) and now the new program of activities is presented.

From October until next June, the Fundesplai team begins the program of activities of this municipal facility. This is made up of different workshops aimed at citizens, most of which are born as a result of the demand of the neighborhood:
- Educational support for children from 6 to 12 years old. (Monday to Friday, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.).
- Board game afternoons for the elderly (Tuesdays, from 6 pm to 8 pm).
- Crafts for the elderly (Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 to 6 p.m.).
- Karaoke for the elderly (Fridays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
- Leisure and sport for children and young people from 8 to 16 years old (every fortnight, on Fridays from 5pm to 7.30pm)
- Intergenerational theatre
- Sports activity for the elderly (Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., from September 26 to October 22. In the Espai Can Llopart)
The facility is also full of life through the cession of spaces to entities and associations of the territory that develop their artistic activities, such as music, dance or theater.
At the same time, the Vista Alegre Civic Center houses the exhibition “Eating changes the world“. The theme revolves around sustainable and healthy food and, based on five challenges, promotes reflection on the current food model and how it has a direct impact on our health and well-being.
The exhibition can be visited on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.). The Fundesplai team has generated a project aimed at schools and institutes in Castelldefels, with a program of activities that includes a guided tour of the exhibition and other workshops on the same theme.
Finally, taking advantage of the Day against food waste, which is celebrated on September 29, the Civic Center has scheduled an activity with the entity SObres mestres to learn how to cook using the food that is often thrown away. The creation of a community urban garden on the premises is also planned.
