On September 17 and 18, the Movidic will be held in Sau, the first meeting of the course of the esplais of the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai.
During this weekend more than 300 monitors (from the more than 133 esplais and educational leisure projects of the Federation) will meet at the holiday home of Can Mateu (Vilanova de Sau) to prepare the new course. In this sense, the Movidic will take stock of the summer activities campaign and present the novelties for the coming months.
The educational proposal “Eating changes the world” is maintained for the second year, but with a new approach: “An educational proposal for the right to healthy and sustainable food, the challenge of food waste”. In relation to the educational proposal, the opening day will feature a showcooking by ecochef Alf Mota.
The Movidic is a meeting place for the different esplais that are part of the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai and that serves to share ideas and prepare new projects. For this reason, during the weekend there will be different training activities linked to the educational proposal of Fundesplai, equality and gender, the world around us, emotional education and day to day at recreation. For example, resources will be provided to prepare menus for the camps, a first aid workshop will be given or there will be a space to address sexist violence, among other useful resources for monitors.
In the Movidic, however, there will also be time to enjoy recreational activities, such as the 1st chariot race or kayaking in the reservoir, and many surprises.
