In this project, Fundesplai participates contributing its experience in education with children and young people and as an entity driving transformation in the face of social and environmental emergency. In this sense, the presentation of the agreement was attended by Jordi Álvarez, head of Socio-educational Programs, and Isabel Santero, head of Labor Inclusion and Women Programs.
The session, organized by the Ministries of Social Action and Feminisms, the Elderly and Sexual and Gender Diversity, was also attended by the technical staff of Social Services and Gender Violence of the 25 municipalities of the region.
The project will provide temporary accommodation and social monitoring to people who suffer from a situation of high vulnerability. In addition, an individualized Work Plan will be offered in order to provide support and accompaniment in improving the situation of each person.
The Ministry of Social Action highlighted the importance of joint and coordinated action between the different agents in the face of a situation that affects the territory.
This initiative joins the collaboration that Fundesplai already carried out with the Regional Council during the pandemic.
